Things you might be wondering

  • The Orange Everyday comes with a Visa Platinum debit card with cashback opportunities through ING Pocket Perks. Shop at any of the 80+ participating brands with your card, and cashback from eligible retailers is credited directly to your account, usually within 7 days of your qualifying purchase being fully processed. You can view current offers and eligible retailers in the 'Cards' section of the ING app.

The account also includes a 1% cashback on eligible utility bills: electricity, gas, and water bills paid via BPAY, direct debit, or PayTo to an agreed supplier, capped at $100 per financial year per account.

  • The Orange Everyday is a transaction account with no monthly account-keeping fee, built for modern life. It connects with Apple Pay and Google Pay for fast, secure mobile payments wherever you shop.

One handy feature is the Everyday Round Up tool. Set it to automatically round up your card purchases to the nearest $1 or $5, and the difference goes straight into your Savings Maximiser, Savings Booster or eligible ING Home Loan. For example, a $4.50 coffee becomes a $5.00 transaction, with 50 cents quietly going toward your savings or loan. A simple, passive way to get a little further ahead without thinking about it.

  • The ING app includes practical security tools to help keep your account protected:

Temporary card block: If you misplace your Visa Platinum debit card, you can block it directly from the ING app. When you find it, unblock it just as easily.

Secure app access: Your account is protected by your ING app access code, keeping it locked until you choose to open it.

  • Opening an Orange Everyday account online is simple. Here's what you need to apply:

    Be 18 years or older

Be an Australian resident for tax purposes

Have two forms of ID ready, such as a Medicare card, driver's licence, or passport

Have an Australian mobile number and a valid email address

You can apply directly through ING's secure digital portal. In most cases the process is fully digital, though some customers may need to complete identity verification via Australia Post. Once approved, your new Visa Platinum debit card will arrive within five to ten business days.

  • ING is Australia's most recommended bank (RFI Global Consumer Atlas Survey, July to December 2025). The Orange Everyday is designed with that standard in mind: a transparent, no monthly account-keeping fee bank account that works for your daily life.

The Orange Everyday can also be set up as a joint bank account if you'd like to manage shared household expenses with a partner. Both account holders get their own card and full app access.
