You're covered for cancellation fees and cost of prepaid travel, accommodation, meals, tours and visas if your trip is cancelled due to an insured event. There is cover for delay expenses too.
With comprehensive travel insurance for international trips, there is unlimited amount of cover for emergency medical, dental, surgical, hospital treatment and ambulance expenses. Exclusions apply.
With cover for 27 pre-existing medical conditions for which you have not been hospitalised in the past 24 months, you can set out and see the world with confidence.
If a pick-pocket steals your passport, visa, credit card or traveller's cheques - or if you lose or damage them - don't worry. We'll cover the cost of replacing them up to $5,000.
We'll take care of the hire-car excess you become liable to pay up to $6,000 as a result of the car being damaged or stolen.

Collect as much information as possible about what happened.
Once we have received your claim, you will be provided with an update within 10 business days.
It's important to have the following at hand when lodging your claim:
Your policy number and personal details
Travel details
Claim details of the incident, including dates, times and place
Supporting documents for example: invoices, receipts, authorization letters, medical reports, flight/accommodation booking evidence.
Bank account details for payment of your claim.
