The Cash Hub must hold a minimum of $500 or 1% of your account balance (whichever is greater and capped at $10,000), plus an additional amount equal to the insurance premiums, pension payments (if applicable) and fees due to be paid in the following two months.

Living Super Term Deposits offer a fixed rate of interest for the duration of the term and each require a minimum opening amount of $1,000. If you wish to close your Living Super Term Deposit before the maturity date, you must provide us with 31 days notice. The 2 year term deposit is only available in Super accounts, not Transition to Retirement or Pension account.

If you wish to break your Term Deposit in Living Super before the maturity date, you must provide us with 31 days notice. Until 31 December 2020 the 31 day notice period requirement is waived for all members who seek to break a Term Deposit before maturity as a result of making an application for the early access to superannuation due to COVID-19, subject to the application being approved by the ATO.   For all other members who wish to break their Term Deposits held within Living Super prior to the maturity date, the 31 day notice period will still apply. Interest will be calculated from the date the Term Deposit was opened to the date the Term Deposit is closed (inclusive of the 31 day notice period), less the interest rate reduction specified below.

Important: Please note, from 21 April 2020 to 31 December 2020, we will be waiving the interest rate reduction during this period for all members where they break their Term Deposit (held within Living Super) before the maturity date. Please refer to the below table. for the regular and temporary rates applicable during this period.
