The next steps

One on One Interview
Once we have assessed your skills against the requirements of the position you may be invited to attend a one on one interview where you will be asked a series of questions related to the position for which you have applied. ING Australia follows a ‘behavioural’ interview process and you will be asked questions that require you to draw on past experiences from your employment history.

Skills Testing
During the interview process, you may be asked to undertake skills testing. For most positions, this will include a personality profile, numeric and verbal reasoning.

Background Checking
Depending on the position for which you have applied, we may require a background check be undertaken. Typical background checks include the right to work in Australia, criminal and bankruptcy checks and qualification verification. In addition, a minimum of two employment references will be taken on every applicant in the final stage of the interview process. All information gathered through these checks remains confidential.
