ING appoints Chief Customer Officer

ING Australia today announced the appointment of Judy Manners to the new role of Chief Customer Officer.
In this role, Judy will lead a team responsible for customer service and customer relationships, with a key focus to continuously upgrade customer service.
Fred Bertram, ING Australia Chief Operating Office, said that Judy comes to the role with a wealth of experience as a change agent across retail and wholesale banking, and life insurance.
Prior to this role Judy has worked at ANZ Grindlays Bank for 10 years in India predominantly in Operations; she then joined Max New York Life Insurance in India as part of the start up team. In 2003, she moved to ING Vysya Bank, a retail bank with 400 branches in India, to head their Operations, and then more recently for ING Bank in Amsterdam to head a team of 200 (across the Netherlands and Belgium) in Documentary Trade operations.
