ING Australia has announced two more senior appointments to its technology team as part of a two-year transformation programme to streamline processes and enhance IT and e-business capabilities.

Rod Greenaway has been appointed Head of Technology Services. Since joining ING in 2000 he has held several roles within IT infrastructure management and recently completed a six month secondment as acting CIO at ING New Zealand. He has over 20 years’ IT experience and has previously worked as an IT consultant for the ASX and Ord Minnett.

As Head of the newly formed Technology Business Engagement team, Carolyn Tatley will be responsible for strategic alignment between technology and the business, increasing capability at the critical project initiation stage and release management and technology resource planning. She has 13 years’ experience in both senior management and project roles in the technology space, and joins ING Australia after completing a consulting role as Programme Director of CRM at St George Bank.

Both appointees will report to Greg Booker, ING Australia’s recently appointed Chief Information Officer.  “These appointments largely complete the revamp of the technology leadership team and will enable us to continue to drive forward with the transformation programme at ING Australia,” said Greg Booker.

“Rod’s appointment as Head of Technology Services role is a great reflection on capabilities inherent within ING Australia.  As Head of Business Engagement Carolyn will play a pivotal role in the streamlining of our technology processes and the separation of our Supply and Demand requirements.”
