ING appoints head of regional sales

ING Australia today announced the appointment of Kevin Canning as Head of Regional Sales.
Prior to this appointment, Kevin was the ING Regional Manager for Queensland where he lead, motivated and fostered a sales focused culture within the Queensland sales team.
In his new role, Kevin will be looking to expand the sales focused culture from Queensland to the rest of ING’s regional sales force. A key focus of this role is to establish and execute national sales management strategies and drive the growth across ING’s product range. Kevin’s skills and expertise in developing and maintaining close relationships with advisers and dealer group management will be invaluable to his new role.
Dan Powell, ING Executive Director Sales & Marketing, said that Kevin comes to the role with a wealth of regional sales experience and an extensive understanding of the wealth management needs across Australia.
Kevin commenced his ING career in 1998, as Regional Manager for Western Australia, ING and State Manager RetireInvest, before then he had extensive experience as a financial planner, and senior manager at fund managers and boutique dealerships and.
Kevin’s role will report directly into Dan Powell and we will be looking internally and externally for Kevin’s replacement.
