In a wrap up of the 2007 season Renault Managing Director, Flavio Briatore acknowledged it had been a difficult season. "The most important thing after a year full of challenges is that we demonstrated our character and determination.” said Mr Briatore. “The support from Renault, from ING and our other partners never wavered, and we thank them for their commitment. Our next challenge is to show that we can come back stronger next year, and regain our place at the front of the field. I am confident we can deliver."
Extensive planning and testing are well under way at Renault and the results have been very positive according to Pat Symonds, Renault MD of Engineering. The ING Renault F1 team is more determined than ever and will come out fighting in 2008.
